How to add a playlist to IPatyj Player by URL or file
This guide covers IPatyj IPTV Player on Android phones and tablets. Have your own M3U/M3U8 playlist ready. IPatyj does not supply TV channel links or sell access to them.
Open playlist import
- If the library is empty, tap “Load playlist”. If you already have channels, tap “My playlists” above the channel list.
- In “My playlists”, you can tap “Add playlist”. Select “URL link” or “File .m3u” for the import method you need.
Add a playlist by URL
- Select the “URL link” tab. You can enter a descriptive name in “Playlist name”.
- Paste the complete source address into “M3U playlist URL”, including http:// or https://. Keep all address parameters supplied by your source.
- Tap “Load playlist” and wait for the import message. After closing the dialog, select a channel.
Add a playlist from a file
- Save your own .m3u or .m3u8 file on the device.
- Select the “File .m3u” tab. You can optionally enter a “Playlist name”.
- Tap “Choose an .m3u / .m3u8 file” and select the file in the Android file picker. Wait for import to finish.
If you have the playlist as text
The “Text” tab lets you paste M3U content starting with #EXTM3U and tap “Parse and load”. Paste the playlist content, not the address of a webpage.
Common reasons for a failed import
- The address was entered in the name field instead of the URL field, copied incompletely or contains an extra space within it.
- The link opens a website or sign-in page instead of returning playlist content.
- Access has expired, the source is temporarily unavailable or it returns an empty response.
- The file contains no recognisable channel entries. Keep your working library when trying a new source.
Step-by-step guides
IPatyj plays the sources you provide. The app does not supply channels, films or a TV subscription. These guides cover the available Mobile version; QR pairing and Phone → TV playlist transfer belong to the separate Universal version.
